Henriette Klauser: Her Guidebook for a Life of Success
Henriette Klauser is one of our nine speakers at our upcoming Summit Business Conference, and she’s going to be telling all of us, in person, how to Write it Down, Make It Happen in our lives and businesses. You can read more about her session and about her amazing career by clicking here.
Henriette conducts workshops worldwide, and has written several amazing books. She has authored Writing on Both Sides of the Brain and Put Your Heart on Paper, but I enjoyed the most Write it Down, Make It Happen, Knowing What You Want and Getting It. This is my personal favorite because her book and her detailed instruction helped me escape a dead-end job and launch my own company. Her book helped me through an organized process of writing down my goals, visualizing what kind of life and career I really wanted, and showed me how to create a brighter future out of nothing more than my dreams. Her book helped me escape a corporate career that no longer fit what I wanted to be doing, and soon afterwards, her step-by-step process was the catalyst for me to leave Hallmark Cards and start my own consulting firm.
But here’s something exciting to think about: Without Henriette’s book to help focus my dissatisfaction and spur me into action with specific concrete steps, I’d still be a disgruntled Hallmark employee (like some of my friends still are), afraid to move forward to a brighter future, fearful of taking a risk and giving up my secure, monthly paycheck, and I’d still be complaining with all the other malcontents I was attracting in my life, about how bored and dissatisfied I was.
I was in a serious life-rut. I didn’t know how to get out. Henriette’s book was the guidebook.
Take it one step further. Without the advice from her book, I wouldn’t have started my consulting firm. I wouldn’t be speaking and consulting with business owners today, which means there be no Destination Strategy that I learned that owners around the world are now using to make their businesses more profitable. There’d be no Schallert Group corporation, no Destination BootCamp, no Destination University online training program, and there’d be no Summit Business Conference that you’re now thinking of attending.
Without Write it Down, Make it Happen, I wouldn’t have spoken in over 500 communities, to hundreds of associations, and all those tens of thousands of business owners wouldn’t have been in those audiences hearing me, learning about becoming a Destination. Take that one step further, and there’d be a lot of business owners who never would have gone back to their businesses and changed them, which means a whole lot of communities wouldn’t have been changed either.
Henriette was on my short-list of speakers who I wanted to speak at the Summit Business Conference. She was the last one to say yes, but the one speaker that I needed to come to Boulder. Henriette’s going to help a lot of people at our conference learn how to clarify their goals, imagine a bigger future for your current business and for your current life-goals, and she’s going to help everyone in that audience find solutions to their problems, with a brighter outcome than they’ve imagined.
If you haven’t figured it out yet, Henriette’s book changed my life. Period. It’s that simple.
At this conference, she’s going to do that for all 250 attendees in the audience.
Thanks, again, Henriette, for coming to Boulder, and for being the amazing author you are.

“PrimeTime women” are the new golden market opportunity
In Marti Barletta’s view, the Mad Men were wrong. So were the strident feminists. So, alas, are many modern marketers. They don’t get how to market to women, especially baby-boomer women in… »
